Welcome to Wyndemere Biewers. We are a small, in- home breeder of quality Biewer Terrier puppies located in Northwest, IN, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. We have our second litter of Biewer/F-2 puppies for sale. We are committed to breeding only dogs who are genetically healthy with excellent dispositions to produce Biewer puppies for sale that will also have excellent health and dispositions. All of our dogs have been bile acid tested for liver shunt including our Biewer puppies for sale, and cleared for patellas. Our Biewer puppies for sale will have their bile acid tests done at 10-12 weeks of age.
All of our Biewers are IBC German registered. We believe that IBC is currently the "gold standard" of Biewer registries, and we are committed to registering all of our Biewers with IBC. Our Biewer puppies for sale will be IBC German registered as well. They can also be easily registered with the American Clubs if you should so choose. Three of the Biewers in our program are BYA registered. My experiences with IBC have shown them to be professional and competent, and I hold them in the highest regard. I will be exploring other American Biewer Clubs as I hope to eventually show my Biewer puppies in the Indiana and Illinois area.
We often place our Biewer puppies and our kittens in the midwest, in states including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Missouri. We ship Biewer and kittens to any state in the United States where our preferred air carriers fly. In addition to babies placed in the midwest, over the past 8 years we have sold puppies or kittens to families in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Maine, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Lousiana, Alabama, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, California, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, the District of Columbia, as well as Hong Kong and Canada!
Although we do work with 2 breeds and cats too, we only have a few of each, with the Biewer program the largest with 4 dogs. We have 1 Cavalier girl, a few Exotic shorthair cats, and 2 Himalayans. I am interested in producing excellent quality Biewer puppies and Exotic shorthair kittens for pet or show, so I keep only the best for my programs. I am truly a small hobby breeder devoted to raising Biewer babies and Exotic kittens in my home, so they will be very well-socialized when they transition into their new homes or the show ring. I think large breeders sacrifice those very important weeks of socialization and imprinting when they raise dogs in a kennel or separate cattery facility. Since regardless of quality, most puppies and kittens end up as family pets, I think it is essential that they be raised in a loving home, "underfoot," loved and played with every day of their young lives.

The Biewer Terrier first came to the United States in 2003, so it is a relatively new breed here. If you research the breed you will find a good deal of conflicting data out there on the Biewer, and my belief is that only genetic testing will resolve the controversies. Many claim that all Biewers are descended from the original show Yorkies of the Biewer family that first produced the parti-colored dog in 1984. Others claim that other breeds have been bred into the Biewer lines to create the magnificent classic tri-colored pattern of the Biewer Terrier. Every breeder you speak with will have a slightly different opinion on the origin of the breed, so I have chosen to not make any definitive statement until genetic testing is done and the results released.
Regardless of the true origin of the Biewer Terrier, they have the wonderful Yorkie look and personality with the magnificent parti-colored/tri-colored coat.

and we offer a one year genetic health guarantee with our puppies. All puppies are health checked at 8-10 weeks and again before they are shipped. Whenever possible we will ship counter-to-counter to reduce stress on the puppy.
